Westcor Land Title Insurance Company
Westcor Land Title Insurance Company formerly Nevada Title Insurance Company was
originally formed in 1993 by a group of agents in Nevada and California. The company was
later re-domesticated from Nevada to California. Westcor remained fairly idle being licensed in a
few states and acting as a reliable back up for the agent owner’s until opportunity knocked.
In late 2004 with title insurance underwriters continuing to merge and consolidate the owner’s
of Westcor saw an opportunity to offer Independent Title Agents an alternative. In October of 2004
Mary O’Donnell was hired to take the reigns of Westcor and expand the agency base and coverage.
Mary had previously served as General Counsel of a regional underwriter and accepted the
challenge of growing the Westcor Brand.
In a little over 5 years Westcor is now an emerging national title insurance underwriter
licensed in 24 states along with the District of Columbia. Westcor has 6 regional offices
servicing around 700 independent title agents nationwide.
